Description

  • Duration:3 days 2 nights

Looking to share the high‑mountain adventure with other travelers? The Explora lo Nuestro Plan is the ideal option for those who prefer group departures to El Cocuy. This 3‑day, 2‑night package offers you an unparalleled natural and cultural experience in El Cocuy National Natural Park. Everything is covered for your peace of mind: lodging in multiple‑occupancy accommodation, full meals (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and a snack), internal transportation, insurance, and the company of an expert local interpreter.

Your journey begins with an acclimatization hike to the Mahoma hill, followed by an immersive wool‑craft workshop and a historical tour of the town. The second day is the big challenge: for these group departures to El Cocuy (maximum 20 people), the agency strategically selects one of the three impressive snow‑capped routes —Lagunillas Púlpito, Laguna Grande de la Sierra, or Ritacuba Blanco— so you can conquer the mountain as a team.

The third day of your Explora lo Nuestro Plan is dedicated to recovery and cultural tourism: relax your muscles in revitalizing hot springs and marvel at the iconic murals and handicrafts of Guacamayas. A perfect combination of expedition, tradition, and new friends.
